As a freelance journalist, Peter is passionate about great storytelling in all its forms. With more than 15 years experience as a professional writer, he is frequently read in The Age, the Sydney Morning Herald, and a number of client publications, including inflight magazines Jetstar and Virgin Australia’s Voyeur. After completing his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne (majoring in English and Cultural Studies), he taught English in Germany and travelled extensively.
Since returning to his hometown of Melbourne, Peter received a Diploma of Arts (Professional Writing and Editing) at RMIT University and worked on staff at The Age (2003-2010). He also moonlights as a sessional lecturer in journalism in RMIT’s Professional Writing and Editing Associate Degree, loves cooking, eating, and writing about food, and shares a busy and enthusiastic home life with his wife and three children.
